Drinking and Driving increases car insurance claims

26 August, 2010

On the Arrive Alive website we have given much attention to the dangers of impaired driving! Too many fatal accidents have been caused by intoxicated drivers. Many more of these accidents are fortunately not fatal but have lead to car insurance claims– and could have been prevented were it not for the reduced driver reactions as a result of intoxicated driving.

Many visitors to the car insurance blog have enquired about accidents caused by drunk driving – and asked the question whether car insurance companies will settle these claims.

The truth is that a car insurance claim will not be settled if there is proof that the driver has been drunk.

A car insurance policyholder should be aware that he is obliged under the car insurance policy to operate the vehicle within the Rules of the Road. If

LTC Cash is your best option to cover all of your expenses.

LTC Cash offers countless benefits. L

Cheap Car Insurance & Crash For Cash

22 August, 2010

If you have a good memory then you may recall the reporting of a major crash for cash scheme in Greater Manchester last year. It was a big deal at the time because it was not only a part of an organised crime ring but was also the largest scam of its kind to hit the UK. Basically two brothers owning a claims company staged collisions and then made a killing by claiming as a result. They have been found guilty this week and will shortly be sentenced to jail.

There is a moral of the story and it is an important one because the incidence of fraudulent claims has gone up in recent years. If you are even a little tempted to forge a claim or set up an accident then it really is not worth it.
